Corten steels are a trademark that weathers steels. They get their name from their ability to survive and form surface oxide layers. Steel Slates s and Slatess from Corten Steel are made up of different grades of Corten steel.

The A847 specification specifies a high-strength, low-alloy material suitable for welding and bolting applications. As a result of the different grades of corten steel, they are suited for a wide range of applications, such as the Corten Steel Exhaust Slates. There is a range of nominal diameters from 1 inch to 6 inches for the Slates s and Slatess.
The A847 Corten Steel Welded Slates Specifications are used in high corrosion resistance applications with high structural strength requirements. The wall thickness of the Slatess varies from 0.133 inches to 0.280 inches. Our goal is to provide you with the best quality Corten Steel Slates.
Several steel alloys have been developed to eliminate the need for painting, and once exposed to the elements for several years, they will create a rust-like appearance. The enhanced weather resistance is the result of the oxide layer.
Roll-formed products are becoming more critical to corten steel piping, which is weather-resistant and saves surface treatment costs.
Corten Steel Slates is a unique steel tubing because of its distinctive look and naturally oxidizing finish, making it perfect for architectural projects. Weather-resistant steel Slates are resistant to atmospheric corrosion based on their chemical composition. Corten Steel Panels form a protective patina layer containing corrosion products when exposed to adverse weather conditions. Design and execute structures so that an impeded formation and regeneration of the protective rust layer is allowed to take advantage of higher atmospheric corrosion resistance of weather-resistant steel tubing than unalloyed steel tubing.
