Detailed Information:

RatnaExports.com is your best source for high-quality products. They are cheaper and more robust than valves. It is used in the maintenance industry to isolate a section of pipe or a device. The Spade And Spacer Isolation Is A Semi-Permanent Isolation. Hence It Is Very Safe, And Safety Is A Key Motivation Behind The Use Of A Spade And Spacer In Maintenance Operations.

It Is Usually The Word “Spade ” Or “Spacer ” Stamped On The Handle Of The PTFE Lined Paddle Spacer 105 To Indicate What Is In The Line. Its size, rating, standard, material, heat number, Caman Engineering stamp, and production traceability code will also be marked. Clients often request the spade and spacer stamped with their part identification and process traceability.

RatnaExports.com can employ its machine shop facility to fabricate armored PTFE ring type spacers and non-armored PTFE ring type spacers, which fill gaps in PTFE lined piping systems up to 3″ in length. The armor is painted carbon steel with PTFE inserts.

There are PTFE LINED PADDLE SPACER 105 used to fill the space left open by single blinds. It is when they are removed from the piping system. Depending on space, weight, and other pipeline requirements, a spectacle blind may also be more practical and cost-effective than this alternative.

Most PTFE LINED PADDLE SPACER 105 have a clearance hole through which a bolt is inserted. It ensures a substantial clearance between the threads and the frame. The most common materials for such spacers are brass, stainless steel, nylon polyoxymethylene (POM), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and ceramic.

Preventing PTFE Lined Paddle Spacer 105

  • Traditionally, the problem has been addressed by keeping flow speeds at very low levels (0.8m/s is generally regarded as a good rule of thumb, but each case needs to be considered individually). Generally, this approach works well in a wide variety of situations. However, this method requires larger bore pipework than would otherwise be required, and there may be problems if the fluid contains suspended solids that are prone to dropping out of suspension from time to time.
  • Secondly, earthing spades have been inserted at pipe joints with exotic metals (such as Hastelloy) or conductive PTFE, both prevalent in the United States. Earthing spades are typically electrically connected to the pipework surrounding them. As a result of these spades, static charge in the fluid contained is dissipated at pipe joints to the surrounding pipework, reducing the overall charge level of the system. In metallic spades, there is the possibility for ion pickup from the metals, and with all types of spades, an additional leak path is introduced. CRP can supply earthing spades in both exotic alloys and conductive PTFE.
  • Using static dissipating materials, or antistatic PTFE, is the third approach widely used in the UK and other European countries. With a small amount of carbon (less than 5%), this PTFE material has lower electrical resistance, making it possible for any static charge build up inside the pipe to flow through the PTFE and into steel pipes surrounding it. CRP can supply various antistatic PTFE/PFA lined pipes and fittings. Although the antistatic PTFE used is FDA-compliant, the antistatic PFA is not FDA-compliant, as such material does not exist currently. CRP’s static dissipating piping products are briefly described at the end of this document.

PTFE Lined Paddle Spacer 105 Verification Test

  • Resistance Test

Measured the resistance of BS2050 A4.5 modified for PTFE. Result-Measured resistance of 2 x 104 ohms.

    Resistivity Tests Surface Resistivity:

Measured at ambient temperatures and 50% relative humidity. Result-measured value (inside liner) is 1.8 x 104 Ω m.

    Volume Resistivity:

An insulating material’s internal resistance to current flow is volume resistivity. High-volume resistivity guarantees the material’s insulation properties; low-volume resistivity indicates a conductor’s properties. Tested at ambient temperature and 50% relative humidity.

Material Classification

These materials are classified as static-dissipative or antistatic and exceed the minimum standards.
