Detailed Information:

RatnaExports.com is one of the leading manufacturers of Boiler Tubes. Tubes for boilers are made of carbon steel or alloy steel and have open ends. The length of a boiler tube is longer than its periphery. It is possible to make boiler tubes from seamless or welded steel pipes, depending on their production method. Boilers use them to produce steam by heating water. Fire tube boilers and water tube boilers are the two main kinds of tube boilers. Various industries use boiler tubes, including industrial processing, fossil fuel, and electric power plants.

How Are Boiler Tubes Made?

Various industries use boiler tubes, including industrial processing, fossil fuel, and electric power plants. RatnaExports.com is a leading manufacturer of boiler tubes. Tubes for boilers are made of carbon steel or alloy steel with open ends. The length of a boiler tube is longer than its periphery. There are two boiler tube types: seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes. Steam is produced by boilers using these boxes.

The initial process of manufacturing medium-pressure and high-pressure boiler tubes is the same, which includes fine drawing, surface brightening, hot rolling, cold drawing, and heat expansion. To make high-pressure pipes stronger and more resistant, steps are taken.

This procedure entails heating and cooling the high-pressure boiler pipes, increasing their toughness, hardness, and wear resistance. Different steps are involved in heat treatment, such as quenching, tempering, and annealing.

During quenching, a high-pressure boiler tube is heated evenly to an appropriate temperature and immediately immersed in water or oil for instant cooling. Further cooling can be achieved by using a freezing zone.

Quenched tubes can become tapped or broken if satisfied, while tempered pipes can become brittle.

In the process of annealing the seamless tube, the pipe is heated to a critical temperature, then left to cool slowly in an ash or lime bath for a few hours to remove internal stresses.

How to Choose Good Quality Boiler Tubes?

To pick out the right and high-quality boiler tubes, you should take into consideration the following:

  1. Look at the cross-section of the tube. There are no bumps or irregularities in the cross-section of a seamless tube of good quality because it will have a smooth cross-section.
  2. Check the density of the pipe to understand the percentage of impurities in the tube. Avoid lines with low density!
  3. Make sure you check the trademark. It is common for renowned manufacturers to put their brands on their seamless tubes.
  4. Check the surface of the boiler tube.

A good quality boiler tube will have a smooth surface on the inside. If the surface is rough and uneven, you can be sure that the boiler tube’s quality is lower.

Rust Removal of the Boiler Tubes

Several methods are available for removing rust from boiler tubes, the simplest being using a solvent and emulsion to clean the pipe. However, this method can only remove dust, oil, etc., and not altogether remove all organic residues from the tubes.

A manual or power tool can also be used to remove rust. Oxide coatings, welding slag, and rust can be removed with cleaning tools.

It is prevalent Chemical and electrolytic methods, as well as acid cleaning methods, are the most frequently used methods.

In addition to removing dirt, oxide, and rust from the boiler tube to a greater extent than any other cleaning method, this method can improve the roughness of the tube.
