Rich in chromium (24.00–26.00%), molybdenum (3.00–4.00%), and nickel (6.00–8.00%), the alloy exhibits exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Iron balances the remainder of the composition (minimum 57.61%), while nitrogen which ranges from 0.20 to 0.30 percent further increases its strength and resistance to corrosion.
