These flanges were manufactured with Inconel, a material that is highly resistant to corrosion. It was formulated to handle harsh environments with increased stability and performance. The Forged 825 has greater strength against corrosion agents than other metals. It is a harsh chemical used on flanges, resulting in pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The chemicals include acetic acid, sulfuric acid, chlorine, organic acids, and inorganic acids.
Despite this fact, our Forged 825 flanges are not vulnerable to these atmospheres. As a result, the flanges are resistant to pitting, SCC, and crevice corrosion. Even at extreme temperatures, they resist cracking. Despite the extreme temperature, Inconel flanges can be used at temperatures up to 525 degrees C and are not susceptible to cracking. And work in boilers and pressure vessels up to 538 degrees C temperatures. Our flanges are the best.
A titanium-stabilized Inconel flange resists intergranular attack and pitting exceptionally well. It is also resistant to oxidation due to chromium in the alloy. In addition, the flange has a stable structure that resists chloride ions and SCC corrosion. Due to these features, it can be used for the manufacture of expansion bellows, tank trucks, propeller shafts, hot vessels, ammonium sulfate vessels, marine exhaust systems, pickling tanks, phosphoric acid evaporators, and sulfuric acid vessels, piping systems, etc.
ASSM B564 UNS N08825 has superior mechanical properties at high temperatures and at room temperature. It is suitable for pressure vessels with walls up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. Forged 825 Flanges are also resistant to localized attack and pitting and crevice corrosion. As a result, they can also be used in marine applications due to their resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids as well as aqueous corrosion. Titanium at the grain boundary prevents sensitization.
In B564 UNS N08825, copper is present, resisting brine and seawater. Nickel makes flanges resistant to stress-induced corrosion cracks. B564 N08825 can be welded using conventional welding processes. It is best suited for use at temperatures from 540 degrees Celsius to cryogenic temperatures. Our flanges are used by a wide range of businesses and industries.
