Ratna Exports is one of the leading stockists of F436 Washers. It is known for its strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. It is made from nickel, chrome, and molybdenum alloys. The combination of nickel, iron, chrome, molybdenum, and copper makes them more easily cold-formed than stainless steel. A resin-like coating reduces friction and resists chemical damage. F436 Washers are made from F436 Material.
For hardened washers with diameters ranging from 1/4′′ to 4′′ inclusive, the F436 Washer Material Grade specifies the chemical and mechanical requirements. In essence, ASTM F436 Materials are heat-treated washers that can be used as general-purpose and structural components. In addition to the F436 Material Grade washers, other specifications fasteners such as the A325 and A490 structural bolts are well suited for use with them.
The F436 Material Grade washers can also be used with bolts such as A449, A354, A193, A320, and F1554, whenever specified. They are hardened flat washers with a Rockwell Hardness value of 38 to 45. Hot-dipped galvanized or plain-finish washers can both be used for these washers.
The hardened flat ASTM F436 Washer is used under bolt nuts and heads to increase the bearing area. It also offers hardness so the bolt or nut can be rotated without distorting the bearing surface. When bolts and nuts are used, F436 Washer Material Grade prevents leaks, gives tightness to a joint, and distributes pressure beneath the head of the nut or bolt.
