This iron grade is a ferritic material used for high-pressure and high-temperature systems. It comprises a mixture of 0.27% carbon, 0.93% manganese, 0.10% silicon, 0.035% phosphorous, and sulfur. The SA210 A1 A boiler tube shall consist of 0.27% carbon, 0.93% manganese, 0.10 % silicon, and 0.035 % sulfur. The tensile strength of the tube is a minimum of 415 Mpa, while the yield strength is a minimum of 215 Mpa. These tubes can be readily elongated by 30% and possess 79 HRB maximum hardness. The ASME SA 210 Seamless Boiler Tube is produced without welds or joints. These tubes are robust and can withstand high pressures of up to 160 bar.
This ASTM A210 Grade A1 Superheater Tube resists and performs well in extreme temperatures up to 550 degrees C. This tube has a long life and Doesn’t easily deform or dissociate.
